One of the things I loved most about this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show was the sense of abundance everywhere you looked.

Beautiful pots were overflowing with planting - cosmos floating above osteospermums, petunias spilling over the edges, and fuchsias adding movement and colour. Everything felt relaxed, romantic and joyfully mixed together.

The troughs and borders were just as inspiring, packed with layers of colour, texture and height. Tall lupins and delphiniums rose through foxgloves, while salvias, geraniums and pelargoniums softened every gap in between.

It had that signature Chelsea feel - immersive, painterly and completely full of life. I came away feeling so inspired by planting that feels abundant rather than overly perfect; gardens that are layered, expressive and constantly changing as they grow. So many ideas to bring home this season.

Care Instructions: Dianthus Oscar thrives in a position with full sun and requires well-drained soil to remain healthy. Water regularly, especially during dry spells, but allow the top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. To keep the plant looking its best and to encourage continuous blooming, "deadhead" the faded flowers by pinching them off just above the first set of leaves. Feed every two weeks with a high-potash liquid fertiliser during the growing season to support its prolific flowering habit.

One of the things I loved most about this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show was the sense of abundance everywhere you looked.
Beautiful pots were overflowing with planting - cosmos floating above osteospermums, petunias spilling over the edges, and fuchsias adding movement and colour. Everything felt relaxed, romantic and joyfully mixed together.
The troughs and borders were just as inspiring, packed with layers of colour, texture and height. Tall lupins and delphiniums rose through foxgloves, while salvias, geraniums and pelargoniums softened every gap in between.
It had that signature Chelsea feel - immersive, painterly and completely full of life. I came away feeling so inspired by planting that feels abundant rather than overly perfect; gardens that are layered, expressive and constantly changing as they grow. So many ideas to bring home this season.
